I moved to Asheville in January, bought a condo in February and just a few weeks ago finished renovating it and got everything unpacked. The Bosendorfer grand has been tuned and it's really nice to be playing it again after having it literally under wraps for several months during the whole renovation process. Still to go are a new iMAC computer and an update for Logic Audio recording. I've already purchased a Focusrite Interface and once I get the computer, I will have the studio set up as well.
I will begin a regular gig on Friday July 15 from 5-7 PM, alternating Fridays and playing piano with bassist Sean McAusland at THE BLOCK off biltmore, 39 S Market St, Asheville, NC 28801. It's located in the historic YMI building in downtown Asheville and it's a vegan place with beer & wine and sometimes vegan food. Stop by to hear us sometime.
I've also been hired to sub at 2 local Churches for services and will be playing organ for a wedding next October. I am continuing to look for more music gigs and some students.
