From the recording Vibrations
This song was written in the key of Gb to match the pitch of a Burmese temple gong I had bought in shop in Lenox, MA. The gong has tremendous overtones and rings for a very long time especially if you use it near a microphone.
Lyrics
This recording happend after meeting Bamboo flutist Robert Jackson at a art show where we were both playing. Robert had to try several different shakahatchi flutes to find one that was close in pitch to the temple gong we used in the recording.
