Asheville Piano Forum Concert

The 16th annual Asheville Area Piano Forum (AAPF) was held on October 9 at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Asheville. It was a varied program featuring pianist members of the organization and had a wide variety of music which included everything from Bach to Lynard Skynard to Monk and also had some original compositions by some of the members.

I played two pieces along with Sean McAusland on bass and there was a reception following the concert. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon.

Pano Forum News

I recently joined the Asheville Area Piano Forum, a group of professional pianists who get together for performances, to share music information and generally support each other in their performing and teaching endeavors. I hosted one of the monthly meetings at my home and several members played my Bosendorfer piano. Several of the members have gotten together to listen to live music and go to the theater. It's a fun group.
