Asheville Women of Jazz is an organization of women jazz musicians in the Asheville area. Our members are vocalists, pianists, bassists, drummers, alto and tenor sax players, a trombonist, flute player and a jazz harpist. While these women have been gigging in Asheville individually and in other groups for many years, on September 11 & 12 we will having our first ever women's jazz fest in partnership with Women to the Front.
